METALLICA Frontman Interviewed By MM TELEVISION BULGARIA; Video Available

October 10, 2008

MM Television Bulgaria conducted an interview with METALLICA guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield on July 25 at Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia. Watch the chat in two parts below.

According to Billboard.biz, METALLICA's "Death Magnetic" (Vertigo/Universal) has secured a fourth week atop European Top 100 Albums. The album now has two more weeks to go to match the initial success of its 2003 predecessor "St. Anger", which topped the pan-European chart for six weeks. The new set is still No. 1 in Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Greece and holds at No. 2 in Portugal, Italy, Holland and Hungary, but slips 1-2 in Poland and Austria.

METALLICA will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn on Monday, October 20 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with the group by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625). (Note: Contrary to a previous announcement, the band will **NOT** be performing on the program.)
